OPEN MIC NIGHT: What would be the Overly Manly Man's blaster of choice and why?

He's the man that all other men aspire to be. He's the Overly Manly Man. If he were to compete in a Nerf war or HVZ game, what would be his blaster of choice and why?

More Rebelle Stuff... yay

Well, I wasn't expecting this, but, I'm not surprised that it has happened. Toys R Us have gotten their own exclusive Rebelle blaster and it's shiny.

MEGA Centurion, the aftermath

Us Aussie Nerfers are at a bit of a disadvantage. We're usually the last to get new blasters (still no Elite Rayven here) and when we do get them they've been castrated by the needlessly strict Australian Toy Safety Regulations. Having said that though, I must commend Hasbro for bringing the Rapidstrike and Centurion over here so quickly. And Now that I've had some time with the Centurion, I though I'd share my experiences with it.

REVIEW: Nerf Blaster Challenge App

Aahh the mobile mini game. Video games for people that don't like or understand video games. I would consider myself a gamer, but nowhere near has hardcore as others. And with just about every company that ever existed releasing apps or mobile games of some sort, I thought I'd take the time to have a look at one of Hasbro's offerings, Nerf Blaster Challenge.

Want to win a Centurion? How about a Rapidstrike? Well, how about both?!?!

Nerf and the Nerf logo are used with permission....

If you watch Random Shadow's range test of the Zombiestrike Machete and Griffin Mods' review of the Z Bombz, you'd know then that those products have been produced under license by a third party manufacturer, not Hasbro. This got some people's attention, but, these are not the first Nerf branded goods to be made under license.

REVIEW: Nerf Elite MEGA Centurion

Since the Longshot CS-6, Nerfers have been yearning for another large "sniper rifle" type blaster. Then we got the Longstrike (um, thanks, but can could we get the Longshot back?). Now, three years after the Longstrike and six years after the Longshot, we finaly have the MEGA Centurion.

What Women Think About Rebelle

I was wondering, what do females really think of Rebelle. Male Nerfers are divided on it, many (including myself) like the idea of trying to attract women and girls to Nerf. More Nerfers and Nerfettes is a good thing right? Well, I decided to ask a few of my female co-workers, what they though of the Rebelle line. And for an unbiased answer, I asked non-Nerfers only and got mixed responses.

Mention "Nerf Modder" and names like Bobololo, Coop and Lord Draconical come to mind. But, there are several more out there and some of them are very good at what they do but aren't as popular as the "established" modders. One of which is Jay Nerf. His honest, genuine, informative and unbiased videos are the reason I regard him on par with the likes of the established modders. So I took the time to chat with him and ask him a few questions.

What happened to Zombiestrike?

Something has been on my mind bout Zombiestrike lately and I haven't been quite able to put my finger on it but I think I've figured it out. What happened to Zombiestrike? At what point did they stop designing blasters specifically for the line and start using second-hand designs?

Live in Australia and want a Rebelle Pink Crush?

Almost all of the Rebelle line is now available on, but, the seller doesn't ship to Australia. But TaoBao's English site has you covered... sort of.

Repaints, Mission Kits and Sub-lines, OH MY!

Wow, just wow. Us bloggers sure have been busy over the last few months. With Rebelle, Zombiestrike, Rapidstrike CS-18, Mega Centurion, Sonic Ice, Vortex repaints, Vortex Revonix 360 and the Elite Spectre. And with the amount of commitments I have outside of this blog, it's been hard to keep up with it all. More recently we've been seeing repaints of the existing Vortex blasters, Sonic Ice Elite and now an Elite Stryfe Mission Kit. So instead of giving you eleventy thousand separate posts, I'll just do one. Laziness for the win!

Adventure Builders Spider Tank Kickstarter (this is awesome!)

I love good inventions. I love the notion that someone's idea, a thought, a spark of brilliance has been made into something you can hold. Tek Recon is a perfect example of this, but now there is another! The Spider Tank.

Nerf Elite Rampage mod guide

The Elite Rampage is my favourite blaster. The Elite Alpha Trooper gets a lot of attention but I feel that too much focus is given to it really. I understand that it's a good performer in a compact form factor, but, it and the Elite Rampage are effectively the same blaster.

In this guide I'll take you through the following:
- AR removal
- plunger padding
- half prime lock removal
- spring replacement (OMW 5kg spring)
- teflon taping the O-ring seating
- relubing the plunger tube

Nerf Elite Stryfe review

A popular modification with the Barricade was the clip-feed mod where you'd modify the Barricade to take a clip, making it a clip fed blaster. It would seem as though it got Nerf's attention.

Zombiestrike melee weapons, will we get them south of the Equator?

We don't see too much N-Force in Australia, but will that change with the Zombiestrike melee weapons Nerf are now offering?

Zombiestrike Roughcut 2X4 design concept

My Last Dart recently sent me an invitation in his post titled "Rumour: New Zombie Strike Rough Cut to hit Target shelves?", in that post he sent an invitation to Tactical Tag and myself to create a design concept of what it might look like... so I did :)
