Zombiestrike Sidestrike and Crossfire Bow on Target USA website!

I knew 2014 was too far away for these blasters. Christmas is the biggest toy buy up of the year and it would've been silly for Hasbro to miss it.

More after jump.

The Zombiestrike Sidestrike has been listed on the Target USA website for a price of US$14.99 which is a lot for what is effectively a Dart Tag Sharpshot in a new shell with a direct plunger (one would hope).

The holster is a nice accessory and it comes with 6 darts. But it's too much coin for too little blaster IMHO.

Product description goes:

Make quick work of zombies with a Nerf Zombie Strike Sidestrike Blaster. This Nerf blaster works as a quick-draw blaster and shoots Zombie Strike darts up to 75 feet. The Sidestrike has a tactical rail on the bottom and can store 2 darts under the muzzle. This cool new Nerf gun comes with a blaster holster, 6 foam darts and instructions. Ages 8 and up.

I would think a price of US$7.99 would be more reasonable for this blaster. I don't think the holster is worth the extra cash we're being charged. It'll be interesting to see the internals of this blaster. I'm really interested in in knowing if this is direct plunger or not... I just have "that" feeling.

Also up on the website is the Crossfire Bow!

We basically know everything about this blaster already. The only thing we didn't know is the price... US$19.99

Product description goes:

Prepare for the zombie apocalypse with a Nerf Zombie Strike Crossfire Bow Toy. This Nerf crossfire bow has fun pull-back firing action that gives keep the feel of firing a real bow. It shoots darts up to 75 feet. A great gift for kids, this Nerf bow comes with 4 Zombie Strike darts. Ages 8 and up.

I think US$19.99 is an ok for a price for the Crossfire. The Roughcut would be a more practical blaster though at 8 shots and is the same price. But... the Crossfire does look good though.

The Roughcut and the Crossfire share the same smart-AR design, the Roughcut just has two of them. I would think too, that the priming stalk on the back (compared to the pump action of the Roughcut) would be troublesome, but it's noting a modification can't fix.

The listings says "available in stores" but, don't expect it for some days/weeks.
