And you get to see it after the jump.
A giant thanks to Alex Chen for this pic of the yet to be announced blaster of the yet to be announced line.
There is only one photo so there isn't much to go on, but we can tell this:
1. two tac rails on the top
2. 12 dart revolver
3. hammer prime
4. shoulder stock (looks short)
6. large bore barrel to reduce drag
7. no range claims on the box (worrying)
I quite like the styling, even in orange this blaster looks good. We seem to have a similar clear section on the right that will likely be opaque grey on the other side.
The character looks to have been drawn by the same guy that did the Zombiestrike characters. There is a definite Mad Max feel about the line, the character looks like he might belong in the Mad Max world. Maybe, the Doomlands world happens after the zombie apocalypse? Perhaps, the zombies were defeated and now the remnants of humanity struggle to rebuild in the Doomlands world?
I'm all for Doomlands (so far), I like the design and I like the orange. So, what is next for Doomlands? I hoping for something that doesn't have a cylinder. Clip fed would be nice. Still waiting for another Zombistrike clip fed blaster though, so, I'm not too confident. But, I would like to be proven wrong about this.
What are your thoughts?
:: EDIT ::
Thanks to Alex Chen (again) Here is a hi-res photo of the back.
Looks like there is storage for 12 darts in the stock and we get some back story as well:
"In a post apocalyptic furture, Earth is left a barren, lawless wasteland. Out of the ashes, a lone hero emerges to bring justice to a doomed land."
That just screams Mad Max to me now.
And thanks to Gavinfuzzy for this heads up, we get the Vagabond box art as well!
So it looks like with Doomlands, we take on the role of a single guy, instead of a group of people like we're meant to with Zombistrike.
