Game Type: Spaghetti Western

It's funny how time passes quickly without you even knowing it. I've been occupied with work, family, filming for YouTube and let this blog slip away. Well, let me tell you about a game type that has become popular at the wars I host, Spaghetti Western.

This game type separates the players into two teams. The teams wait on either side of the playing field while one of their combatants faces the opposing team's player. Only one player from each team is allowed on the field at a time, once a player has been tagged, they return to their team and another team mate enters the field. This continues until one of the teams runs out of players.

In this game, only pistols with a max dart capacity of six are allowed. Stryfes and Rayvens are permitted but must be equipped with six dart clips. Full auto blasters and shields are not permitted.

Not only does this emulate a Western style shoot-out, but it also provides entertainment for the team mates not playing.

This game is quite popular with the regular attendees at my wars and is often requested.

Finally some advice for all the Aussie Nerfers reading this. With summer approaching quickly, it's important that we remember the sunscreen (SPF50+) and stay hydrated. Did you know, that by the time you feel thirsty, you're already dehydrated? Well now you do. Our summers have a habit of being brutal so it's very important that we remember these two things.

Let me know what you think of this game type.
