Yes, I still blog. Oh, and Double Dealer internals.

Been a very long time since my last post. Life gets in the way sometimes and I have really only had time for YouTube.

Double Dealer pics after jump.

Originally I thought it would've been a double plunger blaster akin to the Roughcut, but with side breeches. Now we know it's a single large plunger feeding air to two breeches as depicted in these images.

In this image we see the spring seating and the (rather flimsy looking) trigger catch trap.

Here we can see the large spring and no gears. YAY!

Here we can see can see the front of the plunger and the two dart chambers in each breech

Looks reasonably long.

Another two air-holes to plug up.

The internal functional parts of the blaster seem to come out in one piece.

WI-------------DE plunger with an odd looking appendage on it.

Ultimately what the Double dealer is, is two Rampages side by side (one mirrored) powered by a large plunger. Not something I wasn't expecting to be honest. While it sounds cool to fire two darts at once (gives a better chance to hit the target), but loading two clips at the same time on opposite sides will be cumbersome. Being able to select left, right or both via a mechanical selector would be a nice addition.

What are your thoughts?

  1. What if you singled it , if its already getting decent range it should hit really hard

    1. If you single it, you defeat the purpose of having a magazine fed blaster, unless you want to rebuild the entire breach.

Is the plunger big enough for a Hopper to work?

  3. what I see this being useful for is firing through 1/2 or 3/4 of a mag and slamming another into the other side before you ever actually run out giving you a reasonable 30-35 round capacity using snail drums alone

    1. Or, 72 dart capacity if you did that method, with 36-drums

  4. What if you try and fire with just one Mag in?
Does it increase power to the one dart?
Is there a way to shot just one barrel unmodded?

    1. good question! I don't know, but it appears to be smart AR, so it might help power a little to only fire one dart, but the AR would limit it.
